On the occasion of Eid el-Kabir, I, Barr. Abraham Olugbenga Ojo, extend my warmest greetings to all Muslim faithful in Ekiti State, across Nigeria, and in the diaspora.

Eid el-Kabir is a sacred season of reflection on the enduring values of sacrifice, obedience, faith, and compassion. It reminds us of the importance of selflessness and complete devotion to the will of Almighty God.

As we celebrate this joyous occasion, I encourage all Nigerians to continue to embrace peaceful coexistence and live in harmony with one another. Our strength as a nation lies in our unity, mutual respect, and shared commitment to building a society where love, peace, and understanding prevail.

Let us also remember the true essence of this celebration by extending kindness and support to our neighbours, especially the vulnerable and less privileged among us. Simple acts of generosity and compassion can renew hope and bring comfort to many.

As we mark this important festival, let us continue to pray for our dear nation — for sustained peace, stability, and prosperity. Let us also remember in our prayers those still held captive by kidnappers, praying for their safe release, and our gallant soldiers who continue to sacrifice their lives in defense of our nation and in the fight against enemies of the state.

May this Eid bring joy, peace, and abundant blessings to every home.Eid Mubarak!

Barr. Abraham Olugbenga
