Hon. Abraham Olugbenga Ojo, an aspirant for the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Ido/Osi Constituency II, has officially withdrawn from the race and declared his support for the incumbent lawmaker, Hon. Yomi Ayorinde of Usi.

According to Hon. Ojo, his decision to step down from the contest was informed by the interest of the party and his unwavering commitment to the continuous development of the constituency.

He noted that Hon. Yomi Ayorinde has demonstrated capacity and remains committed to delivering quality representation to the people of Ido/Osi Constituency II.Hon. Ojo further emphasized the need for party members to respect and uphold the decisions of the party, stating that unity and collective interest must take precedence over personal ambition.

“As a loyal party member, I have decided to withdraw from the race and fully support the party’s consensus candidate, Hon. Yomi Ayorinde, in the overall interest of our constituency and the progress of our great party,” he stated.He also urged his teeming supporters across the constituency to remain steadfast and cast their votes for Hon. Yomi Ayorinde in the forthcoming election.
