ILOGBO-EKITI APC LEADERS DECLARE: “IT IS OUR TURN.” FOR IDO-OSI CONSTITUENCY 2 HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY SEAT

Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ilogbo-Ekiti, Ido-Osi Local Government Area of Ekiti State, have unanimously declared that the Ido-Osi Constituency 2 House of Assembly seat should return to their community in the next political dispensation.

Speaking with one voice, an amiable and dynamic leader, Evangelist Femi Bobade, Managing Director of Adebob Communications, talking on behalf of the party leaders during the ward meeting where one of the PDP members, Mr. Omitogun Anjorin, decamped, emphasized that the constituency—which comprises Usi, Osi, Ilogbo-Ekiti, and Ayetoro-Ekiti—has maintained a long-standing rotational arrangement for the Assembly seat since the advent of the Fourth Republic in 1999.

According to them, a review of past officeholders clearly shows that Ilogbo-Ekiti is now due to produce the next representative, while Ayetoro-Ekiti’s turn is 2031.

1999–2003: Hon. Femi Robinson (Elewo)—Osi

2003–2007: Hon. Friday Aderemi – Ayetoro

2007–2011: Hon. Femi Adeleye – Usi

2011–2014: Hon. Adetunji Orisalade – Ilogbo-Ekiti

2015–2019: Hon. Jeje – Ayetoro

2019–2023: Hon. Akin Oso Representative from Osi

2023–Date: Hon. Yomi Ayorinde – Usi

With each community taking its turn over the years, APC leaders insist that fairness, equity, and adherence to the established rotation mean ILOGBO INDIGENE MUST BE THE NEXT HONORABLE MEMBER OF THE EKITI STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY.

They urged all stakeholders within the APC to respect the zoning arrangement, stressing that unity and political balance in the constituency depend on honoring the agreement.

As political activities intensify ahead of the next election cycle, Ilogbo-Ekiti leaders say they are fully prepared to present a credible candidate capable of delivering effective representation.

All APC ward members in Ilogbo Ekiti, overwhelmingly agreed and confirmed their support for Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji and assured that victory for the governor is certain and great people from ilogbo Ekiti are ready to give ninety-five percent of our votes to our amiable and performing Governor come June, 2026
