A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Barrister Abraham Olugbenga Ojo, has congratulated Hon. Sola Fakanle on his successful inauguration by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, as Commissioner of the Federal Character Commission (FCC), representing Ekiti State, describing the appointment as well-deserved and timely.

Barrister Ojo, who hails from Ilogbo-Ekiti, noted that Hon. Fakanle’s track record in public service, integrity, and commitment to good governance is legendary, spanning his service as Chairman of Ekiti West Local Government, among other notable contributions.

He expressed confidence that Hon. Fakanle will uphold the core mandate of the Federal Character Commission by ensuring fairness, equity, and balanced representation for Ekiti State in public institutions, in line with the provisions of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Barrister Ojo also commended the leadership qualities of the Ekiti State Governor, His Excellency Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, for aligning the state with the Federal Government’s broader vision through inclusive, fair, and people-centered governance.

He concluded by wishing Hon. Fakanle a successful tenure marked by impactful reforms, institutional strengthening, and enduring contributions to national unity and good governance, in pursuit of the Renewed Hope Agenda of the present administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
